Plant extension in China

Present in China since 1989, Markem-Imaje inaugurated the extension of its assembly plant building of FengXian, near Shanghai, on December 12, 2013. This new extension should accompany the expected 15% annual growth of the Chinese market. Today, Markem-Imaje already makes more than 10% of its sales in China. The site, which currently employs about 100 people, will see its production progressively evolve from 7,000 to 15,000 printers per year. These printers will mainly be for China and, to a lesser extent, for all the other countries of the Asia-Pacific zone. In addition to large international firms, Markem-Imaje already works for major Chinese groups like the confectionery producer Want Want, the brewer TsingTao or the dairy product manufacturer Mengniu Dairy.

Speed

1000 meters/minute is the speed at which you can print messages with variable data. Do away with mechanical systems such as encoding wheels, where you have to change the wheel with each new message.

x

Metric mode

This mode makes it possible to repeat a message at a customer-selected regular interval, e.g. every meter. No more need for external metering to measure and mark along a cable for example!

x

Optimum legibility

The size and positioning of characters can be defined: choice of characters for each letter and/or number, marking in chimney or DIN modes etc. Two print resolutions are proposed and several print colors available.

x

Precision

With 2/1000 tolerance and a "calibration" mode which makes it possible to readjust marking if a discrepancy appears, the 9232E printer provides optimum coding positioning.

x

Production mode

It makes it possible to change message without stopping the production line. A simple pre-programming before launching production is all you need to go from one message to another.
